We also handle custom-tuned diagnostics & analysis, performance rebuilds, track support packages, expert consultations, dry sump systems service or rebuilds, and Mega Marine sales and rentals. Every service flows through the same shop, the same dyno cell, and the same hands — one standard, no exceptions.
Yes — we are experts in crafting, rebuilding, and upgrading high-performance engines for both marine and auto applications. On the marine side we build and rebuild Mercury, Volvo, Crusader and more; on the auto side we build for race classes within SVRA, USCCA, SCCA, VARA, and NASA, working on big and small block Chevy and LS7, large and small block Ford including the 460, vintage cast-iron and Ferrari, and Mopar big block and Hemi. Not just high performance — we do it all.
Yes. Our dyno testing and tuning covers engine dynos and calibration for naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged setups. We dial in the calibration in our own dyno cell so the engine is verified before it leaves Milford. The number on the dyno sheet is the number you take to the track or the water — verified numbers, not promises.
You don't have to be a racer. Sterling Engines is known for building champions, but we service everyday engines with the same level of care and precision — from mild to wild. That includes cabin cruisers like the Mercury 525, Volvo, and Crusader, classic boats such as Chris-Craft, Riva, Donzi, and Hacker-Craft, and custom auto work on Porsche, Camaro, Corvette, and Ferrari. Whether it's a stock refresh or a full-blown custom job, we treat every engine like it's built to win.
Yes — built, tested, delivered. Every engine is broken in and dyno-verified before it leaves Milford. We test in our own dyno cell so you get a real, measured number rather than an estimate. The number on the dyno sheet is the number you take to the track or the water.
